I suggest a second reading and a calmer frame of mind.
The author - Podesta? - is saying that someone at the White House is leaking news stories about Jared.
The “Kevlar on his back” means Jared needs to protect himself from “backstabbers.”
Except kevlar is not terribly effective against edged weapons.

I agree that the Washington Post is all bullxhit. Podesta’s comment however, is downright threatening and creepy. I think he deserves a visit by the SS.
I agree— is warning about back stabber— but if a republican had said the same thing, all hell would break loose..
