If Trump fires Sessions, the Senate wont approve Trumps replacement.
If he speaks publicly, he cannot be accused of making threats that arent also known in public as not being formal threats. Doing this in public is the safe way to do it, without investigations following his dismissal. Also, the Public gets on Trumps side to hold Senators accountable to replace Sessions with someone competent.

Yep. The only way to do it is to have Sessions fire anyone below him that Trump doesn’t want as a interm/acting AG. Then when you get to that point, fire Sessions.

Under the Vancancies Reform Act, Trump could replace Sessions in an acting capacity with any already Senate-confirmed official (from any department) who could then serve a minimum of 210 days. So for example, that could mean Scott Pruitt, Mike Pompeo, John Danforth, any US Attorney, any Ambassador.....
