No. If you have employee working for you, you discuss issues in private, not public. Trump is better than this. Either respect your employees or fire and replace them. The current Twitter comments are disgusting and demeaning of Trump. It shows or leads one to think Trump is not in charge, cannot control his own employees. And when Sessions eventually quits, sympathy will be with him, not Trump. (And note that I have called for Sessions firing from almost day one.)

You want Rosenstein running the DOJ for a year? Or fire him too? The number 3 at DOJ just quit. I have no idea who would be the temporary AG for a year or more POTUS fired both Rosenstein and Sessions. The Senate will not approve a replacement. Moving another cabinet member to DOJ will create a huge firestorm.

Yes, I do. Trump can appoint anyone he wants as acting AG and so forth. He can then propose perm, same or other person. Up to Congress to act. But Trump’s acting would be in place during the interim.
Rachael Brand is/was #3 at DOJ, and she resigned. She is due to show up at her new job on or around April 2nd. Thus she may still be holding her position for a short time.
Once she is gone her replacement is Noel Francisco who was a clerk for Scalia and is a good guy.
Noel Francisco moves into her #3 spot, #2 Rosenstein and #1 Sessions get fired, and Noel Francisco automatically moves into the top spot without Senate approval.
I suspect Trump may be getting everyone so fed up with the swamp that firing Rosenstein and Sessions will seem very reasonable to the electorate.

I’m trying to remember how the Dems did it when they wanted Nixon out. They sure didn’t want Spiro Agnew, so they first got him out, then when #2 was out, they went after #1 Nixon.
Taking a page from what worked for them way back in the 70’s, #2 Rosenstein AND EVERY SUCCEEDING person who is an Obama holdover should also be fired, until he reaches a true patriot.
