The FBI may have violated criminal statutes, as well as its own strict internal procedures, by using unverified information during the 2016 election to obtain a surveillance warrant on onetime Trump campaign aide Carter Page, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee charged Thursday in a letter obtained by Fox News.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., wrote in his letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions that in this instance, its clear that basic operating guidance was violated.
Nunes cited the Domestic Investigations and Operations Guide (DIOG), which was created by the bureau and approved by the Justice Department, to say he believed the FBI violated procedures requiring verified and documented evidence in applications to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
An Oct. 2011 version of the operations guide states that the accuracy of information contained within FISA applications is of utmost importance... Only documented and verified information may be used to support FBI applications to the court.
The guidance also states that information in a FISA application must be thoroughly vetted and confirmed.

Oh well you see, there is no problem here. The FBI did not need to verify the provenance of the dossier because they knew exactly where it came from.
Just think, all the dastardly, underhanded, illegal, unethical, and corrupt work by Hillary, Obama, FBI, Democrats and their supporters would not be known had Hillary been elected. Citizens of the nation now see what a bunch of scallywags the Democrats really are.
RosenWeasel signed the fourth one. By that time it should have been clear that the DoJ and FIB were perpetrating a fraud on the Court.
RosenWeasel needs to be prosecuted.
Well, this is most assuredly going to get the ole AG pocket veto.
Exactly! The FBI assisted in its fabrication so verifying it would have been counter-productive to their goals as well as convolutedly redundant.
But your honor, there was no need to verify it, we wrote it ourselves
Well, it WASN’T THEIR INTENT to violate those criminal statutes, so all is good.
Not to mention that HRC and Osama gave IT technology to Russia.. notice today’s headlines???
So what?
Democrats aren’t subject to U.S. Law.
“scallywags?” Only? That is putting it lightly. Nefarious, reprehensible liars and thieves would say it better—but that is also putting it lightly.

Sessions: Nobody’s perfect. Now if you’ll recuse me, it’s time for my power nap.
This really all sucks. Nothing will happen. It goes on and on going nowhere. The creeps always get away with it. Always.
Deep Throat is the guy who fudged up the case agsinst William Ayers, who by his own admission is guilty as sin yet free as a bird.
Comes a time your own abuses ruin your case.
There are thousands of people sitting on Death Row after being Convicted with FAR less evidence than is PUBLIC in this case.
I think they are purposely rubbing it all in our faces and not doing anything about it as a way to enrage enough of us to end this country so all of the money they have stolen over the years never has to be paid back to us. The fact that they can’t pay out the social security benefits and retirement payments they owe massive numbers of us without being found out to be the thieves and liars that they are has prompted their exit strategy of having us destroy everything out of rage be put into action. They are taunting us to break us and free themselves.
