Here we go. The New York Times says that the upcoming IG report will accused McCabe of improperly leaking info to the media.

Looking forward to a mention of Comey passing off classified info to his professor friend to force a Special Counsel to dog Trump, as well.
We’re going to drowned in IG revelations on small fry and in SC Muller dogging Trump, while the Justice Department runs the clock out avoiding the clear corruption of the Obama and Clinton administration behind all of it. This justice department is still theirs.
To be honest...I haven’t much of a clue of what to think now. Too much cloudy info.
The real Horowitz Report should make things clear.

What is really being traded is trust, the trust that the electorate gives to those entrusted, and it becomes currency only through betrayal of that trust, and safe only through a mutual agreement that the trust-holders on all sides are superior people to whom ordinary ethics do not apply. Instead of “this just in” it’s now “this just leaked”.
I really. REALLY hope that the DOJ IG report is honest and complete for the sake of our nation.

I’m sure Attorney Genital Jeff Sessions will send these accusations made by the IG in the IG report directly to the IG for immediate investigation.
So he only gets “Criticized” for lying to the FBI? How nice.
If it’s in the NYT, it’s a narrative shaping leak or flat out disinformation from the swamp. The NYT is an enemy of the nation in the new Cold Civil War. Simple as that.
So who is “leaking” about the IG report which has not been released?
I don’t like anything about this.... seems like the IG report will be a nothingburger if it doesn’t accuse/document a great deal more than McCabe “authorizing” a press report.... doesn’t seem like it would be any illegal leak if it went through the FBI press office. The IG would simply be criticizing it as an “inappropriate” management decision, but that would be very different (VERY) from saying it was any prosecutable offense.
There had better be one heck of a lot more in the IG report than this!!!!
McCabe was the nexus of a coup d’etat.....until I see that in print the rest of this is all political theatre.

Everything I’ve read suggests that the Horowitz report will be truthful.
I’d like to think it’s what the President is waiting for, it will be a very large fig leaf against any claims that prosecution of Hillary et al is politically motivated.
D.C. has more leaks than a urinal.
