I bought my 10/22 at Wally World around 2005 and I was escorted to the door by a manager. I got the rifle once I was outside the store. I haven't bought a firearm from a big box store since then.

I get better service at gun shows and gun stores than at big box stores.

Cabelas is a great place to shop for anything including firearms. If there is one near you check it out.

There’s a Cabela’s just a stone throw away from Dick’s where I live. Looks like I’ll be going there for outdoor stuff and Academy for sporting goods.
