One of the major buzzwords in corporatespeak over the last few decades has been "diversity".
My response to that has always been "The Balkans have diversity; fat lot of good it did them".
Diversity is a sign of weakness, IMO. Whereas the concept of a melting pot is a sign of strength. A new ingredient loses its identity within the one mixture - like a rope in which the many strands wound together is strong. A chain is no stronger than its weakest link.
In the years before the fall, the morals of its citizens, especially among the leaders, had sunk to a low level, especially in regard to their sexuality. It has been reported homosexuality ran rampant.
There are a number of studies that show that diversity is bad for a society. The more diverse, the less successful a society is economically and socially.
So to those who worship diversity, my question is: Tell me what it is that you think diversity brings that is worth the economic and social damage.
I remember reading some politician in Bosnia-Herzegovina bragging about how the different cultures all got along.
Then Tito died.
Keep it simple: Diversity+Proximity=Violence.
