Afterall, can’t commit genocide (quickly) against a population armed to the teeth. For that you need a long game of incrementalism slowly turning heat up bit by bit while claiming it is just a teeny tiny commonsense move for the children. The skeptical population is guided with shaming tactics, and fear of social and professional consequences for uttering ideas and isolation akin to banishment to enforce the narrative, such that ideas that seemed absurd a decade ago are now considered normal and anybody who would question them are evil and neanderthal.

This works great until you get a president that not only seems to be immune to the 24/7 hysterical hyperbolic vitriol fest unprecedented in human history but reflects to attacks right back at the instigators making a mockery of them, making them look foolish and hysterical, and provoking them to display their true colors for the entire world to see. The democrats plan requires non stop deception and every time Trump makes one look foolish and illogical there is a huge risk that one of their sheep may wake up and smell the sewage. It will be slowly at first as the media has done a stellar job demonizing that people will be afraid to say anything for fear of social reprisals, but one by one brave people will speak, and then the more timid will speak, and then the numbers speaking will reach a critical point and then expand by geometric progression. This is why Trump is hated so much and why the big guns and knives are out 24/7. He is removing decades of incrementalism.
