My question, which I’ve never gotten any good answer to, is this:

If communism is such a superior system, why would Cuba suffer from trade restrictions from “evil capitalist America”??

Why does a communist regime, in order to prosper, need to trade with an evil capitalist country????

Why haven’t Cuba and other communist/socialist countries, become more prosperous, due to the alleged superiority of their ways of structuring society and their economies?

Sorry, there are multiple questions, but you see my point, I hope. How is it that Cuba would suffer under American embargo, if capitalism is so evil?????

What is Cuba’s main export ?

Who owns the companies that buy Cuba’s main export ?
Which companies own the politicians involved in keeping ‘trade’ with Cuba open ?

ADM, Cargill, Riceland Foods....

It’s an embargo, not a blockade. Cuba was surrounded by U.S. Navy ships only once, in 1962 during the Missile Crisis. The Cuban regime is free to trade with any other nation in the world. So ending the economic embargo, put in place by JFK that same year, makes no sense except to those who wish to strengthen Communist rule on the Island.

Ordinary Cubans suffer because communism is cruelly inefficient in creating food & goods as in anywhere it has been imposed. Communism benefits only the communist ruling class.

When it comes to aiding the Castro regime, Obama was a traitor and Leahy & Co are traitors.

To learn more, google “tourist experiences Cuba”. A lot of stupid Westerners who go there are socialist believers and even they have to hold their noses as they describe what they saw and experienced. And it doesn’t seem to change their minds, either.
