Libby Schaaf, the mayor of Oakland, California, made the daringly foolish choice to warn illegal immigrants in the Bay Area that Immigration Customs and Enforcement agents were on their way to raid the place. She posted the warning online 24 hours before ICE was scheduled to arrive.
She shared the notice with the intent to "protect" citizens, not frighten them, she wrote.
"Oakland is safer when we share information, encourage community awareness, and care for our neighbors."
It turns out the community is much "safer" having been swept by ICE, as a sizable number of the people the agents arrested in the San Francisco Bay Area had violent criminal records.
Of those 232, 180 “were either convicted criminals, had been issued a final order of removal and failed to depart the United States, or had been previously removed” from the country and had come back illegally.
Another 115 “had prior felony convictions for serious or violent offenses.” (Fox News)
Those convictions include aggravated assault, murder, a hit and run, lewd acts with a minor, burglary, cruelty toward a child, indecent exposure, domestic violence, drug trafficking, battery, sex offenses and false imprisonment, an ICE spokesperson told Fox.
ICE Deputy Director Thomas D. Homan said before the raid concluded that there were 864 illegal immigrants in the Bay Area and is unsure how many escaped their grasp.
Schaaf has defended her decision to tip off illegals in the area, suggesting it was noble and the "right thing" to do. She has no regrets.
The DOJ is considering what to do with Schaaf, currently reviewing whether the mayor broke any laws.
They do know, however, that she'd be willing to go to jail.
Until they put these idiots in jail for obstruction of government, it won’t stop.
Lock her up!
Surely there must be some law(s) she broke in releasing such sensitive federal law enforcement information.
If Ms. Libby Schaaf had even an ounce of honor, she'd resign.
But that will never happen with people like Schaaf because they're not finished destroying America.
Not if she didn't intend to break the law.
Arrest the bitch.

Being the obliging type, the vote here would be to toss her in the cooler and allow her to chill for about 25 years. She might be singing a bit differently when she exits through those gates to return to the ‘real world’ once again.
Rinse and repeat for any other offender and traitor to these United STATES of America. Only then would these treacherous persons think twice before turning on US citizens. Even minor elites GET NO SPECIAL TREATMENT and more than just a thump on the head.

I believe this is the Oakland Mayors police chief. No the image has not been photo-shopped but it appears the chief has a tiny head.

Illegals are not citizens.
They are parasitic law-breakers.
And in spite of what Nana Pelosi says they are not USA Americans and America is not their country.

Would Florence ADX be doable after a Schaaf conviction of a federal offense- or somewhere that would not let her play “victim”?

There has to be a better way than to turn her into a martyr.
I think the more likely outcome is that some family experiences a murder of a family member, and the killer is someone that the mayor naively helped evade ICE. The family takes the mayor into court for some sum of money (probably 20 million), and successfully wins. At that point, the house of cards will collapse because of the future impact of more court cases.
