It has become comical. A month or so ago, all the stars decided they would dress for a funeral in head to toe black at the Golden Globes. The ladies brought along their #MeToo chaperones in tow. Host Seth Meyers looked pained at every lame joke he cracked, wondering if he'd crossed the line and torpedoed his career. The men all cringed, knowing each of them were guilty for using their star power at some point in the past to bed a nubile young hottie.
One star, I forget her name, less well-known, decided she would be an individual and dress in a sexy red number, lots of cleavage and legs. She made the mistake of thinking entertainment awards shows were supposed to be fun, not mournful.
She was roasted over the coals. "WE ARE TO BE WEARING BLACK! NOT RED!"
I won't be watching tonight but I'd bet there will not be a single attendee on that stage who forgoes the orange ribbon.
Yep. They don't get it. Hollywood has one job. Entertain us. And they can't even do that.
Time was Harvey Weinstein pressured actresses to wear his wife’s dress designs to these award shows (and later she claimed SHE was a victim!).
