Former Trump aide Sam Nunberg called before grand jury, says he will refuse to go

Former Trump aide Sam Nunberg said Monday that he has been subpoenaed to appear in front of a federal grand jury investigating Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election but that he will refuse to go.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Nunberg said he was asked to come to Washington to appear before the grand jury on Friday. He also provided a copy of what appears to be his two-page grand jury subpoena seeking documents related to President Trump and nine other people, including emails, correspondence, invoices, telephone logs, calendars and “records of any kind.”

Nunberg forwarded an email listed as coming from the office of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III seeking his appearance in front of the panel on Friday.

Among those the subpoena requests information about are departing White House communications director Hope Hicks, former White House strategist Stephen K. Bannon, Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and adviser Roger Stone.

This is just more fishing expedition by Mueller and the Dems to try to find something, anything to use against President Trump.

I hope nothing will happen to Nunberg as a result of refusing to go. He has integrity and doesn't want any part of this.

They would most likely try to find something against him, to indict him, then offer him a plea bargain, if he testifies about something bad against Trump.

Nunberg sounds like a SHILL, refusing to cooperate in order to make it APPEAR Trump did something wrong.

This is all an ACT orchestrated by Team Mueller to get more PRESS and build an air of suspicion about Trump.

Nunberg is a Mueller SHILL.

He is being accused of it, doesn’t mean it’s true.

I don’t think so.

If that were true, Nunberg would exactly be willing to testify to whatever made-up charges against Trump.

He could get into trouble for refusing to testify in front of the grand jury. I hope he studied the issue and is able to protect himself.

“I’m not spending 80 hours going over my emails with Roger Stone and Steve Bannon and producing them,” Nunberg said. “Donald Trump won this election on his own. He campaigned his ass off. And there is nobody who hates him more than me.”

Nunberg is hoping his hatred for Trump will win him some points and show that he is on board. He just doesn't want to go through the trouble of testifying and possibly make a mistake find himself in prison.

Trump needs to have the Anthrax attacks re-investigated and the FBI persecution of innocent suspects Steven Hatley and Bruce Ivins (FBI harassed into suicide).

The two major decision makers/leakers in the investigation were Assistant Att General Comey and FBI Director Mueller. Peter Strzok was also likely involved, as he was assigned to chemical/biological terror attacks at the time.

The National Academy of Sciences report in 2011 stated is was very likely that neither Hatfill nor Ivins was involved.

Ivins committed suicide in 2008. A few days later, Mueller declared ivins guilty and closed the case.

If Mueller can investigate Manafort and Gates for “crimes” from ~2005, then Mueller, Comey, and Strzok and be looked at for the botched anthrax investigation.

Fight fire with fire !

Seems to me why do that and risk a CofC. Just go, say I plead fifth, period, so I am answering no questions before a star chamber. If they give him immunity, then say, not to my recollection to any answer except his date of birth, home address and social security number.
