If you wish, you can go to the article at Townhall and click on the link to NPR to read their report.
Personally, Matt gives us the basics here, and there is no need to give NPR the "click". Let them rot!
Now, it's time to see if the Republicans can get their sh*t in one sock or if they are going to screw the pooch again. Sigh!

Let’s hope the Republicans don’t hand over this seat to the Democrats.

It is absolutely VITAL that we who believe in the rule of law capture more Senate seats.
We currently have just 4 Senators on the side of the citizens and the rule of law.
We MUST prevent the Bush League Republicans from stacking the Senate with Amnesty Senators.

....If the party decides to take another trip down looney lane, then, as you saw in Alabama, anything is possible.

The reason we lost seats previously is that the GOPe helps the Democrat win if the nominee is not a Bush League Republican.
It’s tough to win against both parties.

Looks like the 116th Congress will feature two new rising stars when it takes office in 2019: Sens. Mike Espy (D-Miss. and Jenny Wilson (D-Utah).

We need a real Constitutionalist and not a RINO in the Cochran mold and if that means another Roy Moore so be it and Donald Trump better be right there campaigning for him instead of staying away like he did for Roy Moore’s fight with the Democrat and making the endorsement from a distance.

GOP showdown: McDaniel expected to challenge Wicker for Senate
By ALEX ISENSTADT, 02/26/2018
Mississippi Republican Chris McDaniel is expected to announce later this week that he will wage a 2018 primary challenge against GOP Sen. Roger Wicker, according to two people briefed on his plans.
McDaniel, a conservative state senator ... has scheduled a rally on Wednesday afternoon in Ellisville, Miss.
McDaniel is slated to hold a Facebook Live event on Monday evening to encourage people to attend the rally.
He has recruited two senior Republican strategists, Rick Tyler and John Yob, to assist him.
Tyler most recently worked as a spokesman for Texas Sen. Ted Cruzs 2016 presidential campaign, and was a staffer on former House Speaker Newt Gingrichs 2012 White House bid.
Yob was a top aide on Kentucky Sen. Rand Pauls 2016 presidential campaign.
The expected announcement comes ahead of the states March 1 filing deadline. ...
McDaniel has been preparing for a comeback bid since his narrow 2014 loss.
A pro-McDaniel super PAC, Remember Mississippi, has been established.
Through the end of 2017, it had around $850,000 on hand and had received checks from GOP mega-donors Richard Uihlein and Robert Mercer. ...
Here's a link to CHRIS McDANIEL's supporters for those of you who want to help him.

May God reward them as they deserve.

Gloria Allred is already lining up the sexual abuse accusers. She just needs to know the Republican candidates name to pin them on.

This is a seat redneck GOPe punks Haley Barbour and son stole for the establishment. They paid off democrats to vote in the republican runoff to keep their seat of power.
I lost respect for Barbour and his group of thugs forever on that deal.
