I don’t know if you say that Amazon was looking for a new location. One of their key criteria was “diversity”. They calculated it by determining the percentage of the population that was foreign born.
Wonder what Maxine thinks about that discrimination against native born black people?
I doubt Amazon will be coming to Newark NJ (one of the sites in contention); their foreign population is lower caste (not Asians), and many of the Americans there are unemployable. On top of that, plenty of qualified Americans in the surrounding area avoid working in Newark.
