This is pretty much the truth. For that two-week period where it was obviously warm up over the arctic....the mass of cold air went south to Russia and northern Europe. Awful bitter cold temperatures in my village....near 10-degrees F. That’s not a normal winter situation. In a 72-hour period....a mass warm front came up from Africa, and pushed the cold ‘sphere’ back into place. We are now at 50-degree F temperatures.
