Great concept but I don’t think we should place too much faith in this:
if we do, Trump will then be responsible for the actual disarmament execution.
North Korea has made a decades-long ruse of talking in general terms about this with absolutely no sincerity at all.
I smell a setup.

I think Kim is hoping that Trump will send Obama and his team to negotiate an Iran type deal - 100 billion plus a few billion in cash on the side all front ended and a ironclad guarantee he can add to his nuke inventory in 10 years. What could possibly go wrong with a deal like that!!
