To my ear, it sounds like rap, with a fake southern accent.
The show Nashville is political correct. Was it ABC that had Nashville on its show lineup? It was dropped and picked up by another station, I think CMT. The Nashville show displayed a lot of left leaning stuff, which goes on in country music today. Little Jimmy Dickens would probably be upset, about what has happened in Nashville.

It sounds to me like all genres of popular music sound more and more alike over time. I don’t know if the culture is becoming more homogeneous or what. Some of the stuff I hear on the radio doesn’t even have a melody. Now I don’t know how you can have a pop song without a melody, but they’re sure doing it.
What has happened to Sports, Movies, Music, and Politics.
The cities are dictating extreme leftist opinions and people who live in the country cannot relate. There are two worlds.
There are the grassroots, patriots, farmers, workers who turn on the tube and cannot understand what they watch. There are
the extreme left, who try to dictate crazy outlandish lifestyles. People living in the country cannot relate.
Most of those previous country artists were Roosevelt Democrats, and their followers went farther Left with the rest of Democrats.
