The show Nashville is political correct. Was it ABC that had Nashville on its show lineup? It was dropped and picked up by another station, I think CMT. The Nashville show displayed a lot of left leaning stuff, which goes on in country music today. Little Jimmy Dickens would probably be upset, about what has happened in Nashville.
Most of those previous country artists were Roosevelt Democrats, and their followers went farther Left with the rest of Democrats.

Word on the street is that the Late Little JD was interviewed in Nashville by Ken Burns’ crew a few years ago, for Burns’ forthcoming PBS documentary on country music.
