I suspect that those leading these various leftwing movements don't actually believe the crap. Their aim is to get the largely uninformed, gullible masses to believe it.

The level of stupidity here is astounding.
Does this mean women need to give up washing machines, dryers, vacuum cleaners, dish washers, electric ranges, microwave ovens, cars, etc.; or we will all die from global warming?

Boy howdy, isn’t that the truth. It is so very sad to see the modern church succumb to pressure of the surrounding world on this issue. Churches, I believe, think they are being sensitive to contemporary seekers when they reject this passage and elevate women beyond scriptural instruction. In fact, when a church does this, and there are many that do in one form or another, they cause great harm as they reinforce and validate the world’s position on this matter in opposition to what God has said and declared.
Now, before some jump all over me, it is without reservation that I believe men and women are equal in the eyes of God, it is that in God’s design he has created this particular ordering of human activity. That churches ignore this and validate the world’s view does a lot of harm. Both men and women are led astray as a result and suffer because of this error.
Women need to quit using so much TP! Save the trees! That will help with gloBULL warming, I am sure of it!

With the deliberate help of the Delusional Lying Left and the Demented Women’s Movement, many people confuse VALUE with ROLE.
The Bible clearly shows that men and women are of equal VALUE but not equal ROLE. A woman’s value is not diminished because she is to submit to and obey her head, the man.
The Delusional Lying Left and the Demented Women’s Movement have succeeded is confusing this important distinction between value and role. Too many Christians and churches are confused also about this issue.
In the meantime, let’s not apologize to anyone for speaking the truth of the grace of Jesus Christ in love of which this issue is an important part. May we realize we have the asbestos suit of the Holy Ghost and the whole armor of God to withstand the attacks as we stand in the gift of righteousness and say what needs to be said in love.
