It’s a slow train, but it keeps coming, and I think it’s finally coming around the bend.
Lots of things tied together. Very good article.
Bttt.

Chuck Ross, the writer, did an excellent job!
Corrupt from Clinton on down through McCain’s associate using the dossier to try to get Trump to quit.
And McCain, Jeb!, Graham, McConnell, Ryan, Bohner, and any of one hundred other Washington-approved/George Will-approved GROPElites would have!
It is perhaps no surprise that Mayer offered up a glowing profile of Steele. Thats because the veteran reporter was one of a handful of journalists handpicked by Fusion GPS to receive a briefing by Steele prior to the election.
In Other words, she was a willing participant in this conspiracy to overthrow the United States Government.
John McCain (cited in the article) is the most despicable republican in the history of the party.
And it's motivations are so transparent it's laughable: clearly Jane got a call from Glenn Simpson and asked her to do a “Chris Steele's side of the story” story, because Steele knows his keester is in a sling over the Grassley criminal referral, because he DID lie to the FBI about his media contacts. Which, oddly enough, is a central point of the the referral which Jane somehow never manages to address.
Mayer’s a long time Clintonista. She’s the one who set up Linda Tripp with her step mother years ago who nastily revealed poor Linda’s old arrest.
The Democratic commissioned Steele Dossier is similar the czarist paid Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Each were works of calculated fiction designed to advance a political narrative. Both found a target gullible audience.
Interesting turn of phrase.
It would certainly be apt to describe MSNBC host Rachel Maddow herself as a staggering piece of... (fill in the blank here).
Maddox is not a good crossword constructor.
Chuck Ross also misses what I thought was the biggest bombshell - that Steele told Mayer that “Russia” had operatives embedded in DNC + HRC campaign (not a hack? not a botched robbery?)
