Too late for Ireland. Their fate was sealed more than 20 years ago when Ireland joined the EU. Ireland can export a little more wool and dairy products to the rest of Europe, while the rest of Europe exports Muslims to Ireland. Ireland is a small country with a unique culture. That culture will soon be “Gone With the Wind.” I have relatives over there. They are upset about the Irish government buying a small tourist hotel in a tiny village called Balladereen (or some such name). The hotel was filled with Muslim refugees.
The locals don’t want to end forever their town?

90% voted against so of course the ‘rulers’ will go ahead anyway.
Who needs governance by the people after all?

After the local influential political constituents (for example, a local banker) are satisfied, they’ll receive a large flow of revenues from the foreign sponsor of the migration and start the flow of migration into the community.
Often, such an influential constituent has been involved in other local corruption in the past, like fronting a huge sum of money to a local drug pusher to receive a big illegal drug load for local distribution. Adult children of such people tend to be considered as untouchables by local law enforcement authorities.
Certifiable insanity that they’d even consider putting 115 refugees in a town of 300. The things Euro nations are doing to themselves are hard to believe. Of course, some politicians in the US are no better.
I wonder what the male-female ratio is now.
Now add 115 horny single males from a culture that believes women are things to be used and watch the rape/murder stats rocket upwards. They’ll all be on the dole, so what else will they do?
I don’t envy that town, or any town that gets hit with a surge like that.
