There are some anti-Semites on the Right. But I suspect there are far more on the Left. I have always believed that Israel’s best supporters are Conservative Christians. And I believe that the majority of those who ‘march with the Right’ and spew anti-Semitism are probably Leftist plants. I mean, can you imagine many anti-Semites shouting out their hatred, in the middle of a group of Conservatives? Aside from the fact that I firmly believe that most of those demonstrating in Charlottesville were really Leftists, marching on both sides. (Let’s face facts, Conservatives only really march in the March for Life)

The racist march in Charlottesville, Va., last August that led to clashes between members of the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis and other extremists with counterprotesters from the left was deeply traumatic for many Jews. The torchlight march in which anti-Semitic slogans were shouted seemed like a rerun of the 1930s. The fact that President Trump drew a false moral equivalency between the two sides made it even worse.
