I would add cell phone abuse as another example.
The abject fear by many of firearms rather than the judicious and proper use of them has led to a weird pathology among many people.
Kids are no longer taught firearm safety nor are they given the proper outlet to safely use firearms. Thus, when they do get the opportunity, it’s often in an unsafe manner.
Safely using and training on firearms removes the mystique and gives kids, especially boys the proper way to shoot.
This summer, I’m heading up a weeklong summer camp program. One of my requirements was a robust shooting sports program. Several of my leaders have gotten certified as NRA and USA Archery instructors (including myself)so we can offer a professional and safe program.
How about more restrictions on alcohol and cars to cut down on drunk driving? It would make as much if not more sense as any democrat can come up with. Yeah - we tried the alcohol thing at one time but if we want some fun - let’s try it again. Watch the heads explode.....
