A country does not stay a country by officially violating the Rule of Law.
It turns out that we actually have laws covering sedition and treason, and lack only an Attorney General willing to do his job.
What we have now - the denial of enforcement - is the official violation of the Rule of Law, and if you genuinely cared about it you would be as angry about the situation as I am.
