The Constitution says the Supreme Court has primary jurisdiction on any issue between the Federal Government and a state government.

You act as if you think these clowns actually read the Constitution or the laws they pass?

Not really, but you would think the AG of the USA would know what the Constitution says. Kind of makes one think this is all for show.

The Supreme Court means the entire federal judiciary, all of which is under the jurisdiction of the SCOTUS.

The original Supremes used to travel the country “on circuit” presiding as judges in every municipality in which there were cases pending. Then they’d go back to Washington, DC and hear appeals to SCOTUS. That’s where you get Circuit Court of Appeals. As the US got bigger, permanent circuit court judges were appointed to hear the appeals from the district courts in their area, who were also given permanent judges. But it’s all really SCOTUS acting as the administrative head of the entire federal judiciary system.
