Heck, they didn’t lower the voting age to 18 from 21 until the 26th Amendment in 1971. Before then a guy couldn’t vote but could be drafted.

I guess we will get to see just how well restraining orders protect people when they have a very limited means of self defense. “Hi, my ex threatened to break in and kill me, I need to buy a gun for protection.” “Nah, go home he won’t do anything for at least three days.”

When I paid cash for my brand new Ford vehicle at a dealership, it was 3 or 4 days before I could go pick it up. Also took over a month to get my license plate approved, and I got a ticket because I didn’t realize I had to renew my temporary plate on a date before my permanent plate was legal. I guess they have those rules because you could kill someone with a vehicle and they want to be sure you are who you say you are. I did get the ticket waived.
