To: Jed Eckert

I find it ridiculous that you can vote at 18 but not buy a gun. Isn’t a vote more deadly than a gun? I have objected throughout this process to the manner in which this bill was brought up and passed, not to mention that it does little to address the system failures that allowed the Parkland shooting to occur.

Don’t kid yourself, Scott will sign. He invested his future in the bill from day one. Start lobbying your representatives for at least a partial repeal of this bill.

I'm not so sure about that. See my post #19. In any case if he signs he's toast in his coming Senate race.

He can't and won't win if he betrays gun owners. Everyone I've spoken to here central Florida is absolutely pissed about this whole fiasco and it's not just gun owners. They know we're being played again and sick of it.

He's painted himself into a corner with his remarks the past couple weeks but he can still recover IF he doesn't sign. We'll see.
