Special counsel Robert Mueller has gathered evidence that a secret meeting in the Seychelles just before the inauguration of Donald Trump was an effort to establish a back channel between the incoming administration and the Kremlin - apparently contradicting statements made to lawmakers by one of its participants, according to people familiar with the matter.

So I guess in Mueller-Justice-Think, if someone says someone else’s name while doing something bad the entire life of that someone else should be investigated, along with everyone he’s ever known.

This crap needed to stop about a year ago. The RATS (and their minions) can’t be allowed to continue this until the next election (which is clearly their plan).

When will the tables be turned and someone starts investigating Hitlary or perhaps Mueller himself? I have not doubt there are lots of skeletons in hiding that need to be aired out.

Total kook nonsense. If anyone has to be jailed for “lying” about a transition meeting which was perfectly legal, then Hillary et al need to hang.

I wonder how we know this? Serious investigations do not leak.

Frankly, I am more angry at Republicans who are allowing this idiot Mueller to waste our tax-payer dollars on this nonsense.

I stopped at just before the inauguration. This was *after* the election was already won and I would not have cared if the incoming Trumps were opening backchannels to Russia, China, Iran, Cuba, Mars or Pluto. He's simply getting a head start on the world he is about to inherit. This is not criminal behavior. I repeat, this is not criminal behavior. If Mueller spends all this money to prove it happened, it's a waste of time. Now, if he wants to prove there was perjury, it's not going to get as high as the president.

That is exactly why this investigation is ongoing, that being that it provides protection for the criminals in and of our government. Classic Clintonista tactic of accuse those first who could accuse you of wrong doing. Thus innoculating yourself.

Yep, this seems to have been in January, AFTER THE ELECTION, so should not even be a matter for further consideration or investigation. RIDICULOUS

I kept hoping Mueller would have some integrity, but it seems I was wrong.

"BFD if it WAS a planned meeting anyway -- the election was over!"

It hinges on the definition of "planned." /s Mueller appears to be searching for process crimes: slight exaggerations or omissions or imprecisions in testimony about insignificant or perfectly legal events will be treated as serious crimes.

So, now Trump is being investigated for conducting foreign policy?

Remember this ?

A World of Advice for Obama on Foreign Policy (By HELENE COOPERNOV. 13, 2008 )

There is a world of advice out there for President-elect Barack Obama. Within minutes of his election, the calls from foreign governments began, Obama aides said, and they have not stopped.

While the first telephone exchanges between Mr. Obama and foreign leaders were limited to pledges of future cooperation and invitations to visit, those leaders and their aides have also been contacting Mr. Obama’s advisers and their surrogates with suggestions on how an Obama administration should conduct, and change, American foreign policy.

The foreign efforts to sway the new team are normal during any presidential transition, but they are accelerated in this case, foreign policy experts say, because of the historic nature of Mr. Obama’s election and the significantly different course that world leaders expect him to pursue in American foreign policy.

The Russians want him to hold off on the installation of a missile defense shield in Poland. The Europeans want him to renounce the idea of “regime change” when it comes to Iran, while the Israelis want to be sure he does not give Iran a pass when it comes to nuclear weapons.

Oh, and let’s not forget the Taliban, which issued a statement this week urging him to “put an end to all the policies being followed by his Opposition Party, the Republicans, and pull out U.S. troops from Afghanistan and Iraq.”

"Conducting foreign policy is now a crime?"

And so too domestic policy without oversight and approval of the judiciary.

Not a planned meeting I guess akin to Clintoon unplanned meeting with Lynch on the tarmac in Phoenix. The outcome was Er, NOTHING. Even though it happened while the DOJ was allegedly looking into Cackles law violations.

Such a meeting as was had in the islands when it allegedly happened in January 2017 is quite different than the Clinton/Lynch meeting because Clintoon’s was a complete ethical violation at the minimum and obstruction at its maximum.
