....Trump has pretty much proven that he knows what he is doing ... Some things are done for effect to lay the ground for what he is planning to do next. When he does this there is a Knee Jerk reaction by pretty much the whole world .... Then somehow magically the President pulls the cover off of what he was doing and presents to the world ... another kept promise from his campaign.
... ..... That said ... I’m pretty sure Trump’s whole “Tariff” thing is meant to create some kind of “Leverage” ... Real or imagined ... as a prelude to renegotiating the NAFTA trade agreement as well as other trade agreements with other nations.

Ah, Congress. How many Members have a steel mill in their districts? A couple of dozen? How many Members have downstream industries that will be harmed by Trump’s tariffs? All 435.
