This is Trump preparing the American people for the coming war. Showing he is sincerely interested in peace bolsters his strength at home.

Here’s a much more likely scenario than the Norks abandoning their nuke program: NK will cheat and Trump won’t stand for it. It will begin with a blockade. Hopefully that will lead to an NK economic collapse and not too many SKs will get hurt.
