This needle thing is a problem. Imagine you have a curious little guy who likes to pick up stuff he finds on the ground. You are at the park one day and he's waving the needle he's found in the slide. A horror unimagineable.

Hep C can live on a surface for three weeks. HIV can survive in syringes for about three weeks, Hep C in a syringe for 2 months.

I have that little guy and have to watch his every move. I’m always on high alert when we visit parks, beaches etc..you never know these days!
Speaking of beaches, disgusting how many needles and other paraphernalia volunteers picked up during a recent beach cleanup. Homeless aren’t supposed to sleep, camp at the beach but you see them all the time.
