I would like to point out that Orange County did a very nice job cleaning this mess up. It stretched through many cities, since the river bed forms a natural boundary. MANY jurisdictions were involved, coordinating the effort was a Herculean task, and various do gooders and rights groups fought every step of the way in court, against this action. At the end of the line stood a Federal judge who issued injunctions against most common sense responses, to this disaster. Certainly this latest round of action will serve as no panacea but compared the the estimated 50,000 plus homeless up the freeway in LA, and who knows how many people in SF, this represents a nice return to civilized standards. Thank you.
Two questions:
Besides a motel where did al lthe homeless go to?
Who is the poor guy who had to count the needles?
I agree Orange County did a good job to get this area cleaned up.
