They picked the wrong one - somehow I think they will smoothly change horses with no hint of shame or embarrassment.

They've already done so. You may be too young to remember that back in the 70s it was the coming ice age, brought on by human activity and capitalism in particular. When it didn't cool down they called the lack of cooling warming, without missing a beat!

So called “sin taxes” and high corporate taxes punish the poor far more than the fairy tale that is the planet destroying changing global climate warming.

A new ice age is more prosaically expected from ancient climate trends.

Wouldn’t it be a riot if the expected ice age and the “AGW” managed to cancel one another out?
