A group of U.S. scientists has had to be rescued by helicopter from Antarctica after being trapped by encroaching ice.
Good Morning America reports:
A group of American scientists was rescued from an island off Antarctica’s coast after ice prevented a U.S. Antarctic Program research vessel from reaching them.
The four U.S. scientists and a support staff member conducting research on Antarctica’s Joinville Island were airlifted by helicopter Sunday from an icebreaker ship dispatched by Argentina, said the National Science Foundation, which funds and manages the Antarctic program.
You’ll, of course, never guess what the scientists were doing there.

Global warming must be driving the ice into a killer frenzy. It doesn’t like the warmer weather at all, so it’s gonna get you and your little dog too.

You’re looking at it the wrong way. It was global warming that’s responsible for the recue costs to tax payers, not the irresponsible scientists looking for a magic unicorn in the most inhospitable place on earth.
It is time to ban assault ice.
But, I’d rather they wait. Since the situation is so alarming, it shouldn’t be long before they can *walk* out on their own.
I’d rather they walked out in the belly of a polar bear than keep spending taxpayer money studying a fantasy of their own making.

I might add that when I ask them how much CO2 is in the atmosphere, I will not give them the correct answer until they give me a guess as to what they think it is.
I do this because I want to know where their mind is with all of the MSM lies.
I get between 15-80%. Usually they guess around 20%.
When I tell them the actual amount and they realize that they were way off, they say something like.... Well that is not important.
Then I hammer the $&@? out of them. I enjoy this and am relentless
