Remember that the western-most reaches of “Asia” extend to the Dardanelles in Turkey.

The Red Sea even - and no need for scare quotes. Asia is what Asia is by definition. Just too many here who can't get over their limited geographical knowledge.

Russia straddles Europe and Asia. Not wholly in Asia. Although Putin works overtime to push it there.
