“Move to a small town.”
If no wifey, I’d move to a small town in a heartbeat. Wifey says, “Sure,” but then I might hear forever how much I forced her to go. Things like that happened before with us.
But maybe it’d grow on her.
We live in a very small town—and my wife grew up on a farm so she is in her comfort zone as well.
When I visit the big city I feel sorry for the folks there—humans were not meant to be packed in like sardines in a sardine can.
I have no desire to move to a small town or rural area. Sure, for vacations. But I really am a city girl and I have young kids who need either services or competitive sports. I wouldnt mind living in a slightly left of center city either. If its big enough anyone can find a way to make it work. But I dont like living where I have to keep my beliefs quiet or my whole family is ostracized. I have a maga hat but if I ever wore it Id be in danger or at least waylaid and called names all day in front of my family. When its time to sell my familys place here, Im out too. Still looking at Nashville or Denver areas.
