Because Jim (Jack) Hoft from the blogsite Gateway Pundit is smarter than a career lawyer, federal prosecutor, US Senator, and Attorney General. What a pantload.

I believe it is Gregg Jarret making the assertion.

Whether the assessment is correct or not, GP is simply quoting FoxNews legal analyst Gregg Jarrett:
Gregg Jarrett: He betrayed the president. He knew when he was sworn in that he was going to recuse himself and the very next day he put the recusal in motion. He never told the president about that. And by the way he cited the regulation in his recusal
He cited the wrong law. It didnt apply.

Let's keep in mind that Rod Rosenstein wasn't even confirmed as Deputy AG until May. Between Sessions' recusal and Rosenstein's confirmation there was plenty of time for President Trump to put someone else in that Deputy AG told.
But he didn't. Not only that ... he refused to accept Rosenstein's resignation as U.S. Attorney for the Maryland District while all this was going on.
Clearly there is a lot more to this than what we've been led to believe.

What a pant load.It wasn't Hoft, it was Greg Jarrett who made the claim. And I would bet that the Obama holdover lawyers at DOJ, who don't have our best interesting in mind, ARE smarter than Jeff.
To: bigbob
Hoft was merely quoting two lawyers - McCarty and Greg Jarett.
