I have not been a particularly religious person for most of my life, and I am on a journey to find God.

But I know right from wrong, and good from evil. This man is not doing this to even contribute in any way towards helping others. He is doing this for purely political ends.

I am former Navy and my dad devoted his life to the Navy. This offends me in ways I can’t explain, and I have good reason to have a grudge against the military Chaplain service...but I don’t.

What is this person going to say to comfort a dying man in a time of war? What?

Something inane like “suck it up bub, this is the end of your whole story”?

Here’s a secret about God. God is seen the best on earth in lowly places. The majesties of man, God disdains.

“But I know right from wrong, and good from evil.”

So did I. Ironically, I was wrong :)
