So the .223 bullet that comes out of an AR-15 is more powerful than rounds out of my hunting rifles?
More powerful than my .243? 30-06? 7mm mag? I have been reloading for fifty years and I did not know I could make the .223 more powerful just by putting it in a scary black rifle.
Never seen that in any handloading books.
I’ll let Feinstein shoot 100 rounds out of my 7mm any day she wants... I will shoot 100 rounds out of my AR. Then we will see who feels like they got kicked by a mule.
The mass density of an elk or deer is obviously greater than tgat of a human. Either that or the bullet loses most of its energy penetrating their leather hide.
