The Justice Department under Barack Obama directed the FBI to drop more than 500,000 names of fugitives with outstanding arrest warrants from the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, acting FBI deputy director David Bowdich testified Wednesday.
Fugitives from justice are barred from buying a firearm under federal law. But what is a fugitive from justice? That definition has been under debate by the FBI and the ATF.
According to The Washington Post, the FBI considered any person with an outstanding arrest warrant to be a fugitive. On the other hand, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives defined a fugitive as someone who has an outstanding arrest warrant and has crossed state lines.

Democrats (leftists, globalists, Rinocrats...whatever) want to disarm the population. Gun confiscation is a non starter. The only way to disarm Americans is to make the typical American, in overwhelming numbers, demand to be disarmed. A few more mass shootings in our schools and school yards will probably do the trick.

What Sessions did not due and should be fired for is:
He should have directed as soon as he took office that no changes in DOJ policies or regulations be finalized until all changes under consideration that have not gone into affect be passed through his office directly for review, where they will remain pending until either completed or rejected by that review process.
He then should have hired a whole separate and independent team to make that review.
He should go and that should be the first act of his replacement.
What Sessions has allowed to happen is for a greatly flawed DOJ to run on autopilot as if elections do not mean any change in direction of the government - just new caretakers of the deep state apparatus that alone determines the DOJ direction.
Holder, or Lynch? Curious.
