I wasn’t really following PA race too close ( I live in CA living in my own hell) but what was wrong with Saccone? Is he an establishment Rino?

If you listened to Lamb, you would have thought it was two Republicans running against each other.

Nothing wrong with him per se but he’s the type of candidate you nominate if you don’t expect the other side to put up a fight. They did...and why that would not have been expected is beyond me...it was an open seat. The GOP was caught flat footed and didn’t get organized with the threat of this seat being lost until the other side already had the upper hand. Lamb immediately got many millions of dollars in cash while Saccone had relatively little fundraising. Outside groups tried to come to his rescue and spent millions on his behalf but it was too little, too late. Except for the last few weeks of this race, they just campaigned like they had it in the bag because of the GOP history of this district - meanwhile the Dems fought hard from the very start of the race.
