" Time for you Sessions bashers to eat crow. "
I'll gladly eat that crow, starting with the beak.
Let's start locking people up!
One swallow does not a summer make.
I agree. I am tired of the bashing. Even my husband has been snarking about AG Sessions. Let him do his job. What he does will be above reproach.
I still think he's a useless coward, but I just kicked in $25 to FR in honor of McCabe's firing.
Eat crow? Yes sir, Sessions actually makes ONE obvious decision in over a year. What about the hundreds of obvious decisions he has passed on? Crow, you have many courses yet to dine on.
It was a huge step for sessions to make, considering it is making the headlines all weekend and then some... and the fact sessions recused himself maybe gave him an out to fire the guy..
BUT... if he had not fired him before Sunday, sessions probably knew he’d be the one fired!
I don’t remember bashing Sessions but I have had my doubts.
Earlier today I though I saw some reports that said Trey was on to replace as AG.
Left for maybe 2 hours and now McCabe is fired.
Did the deep state decide and Sessions obeyed?
I don’t know.
I want to trust Trump and I have since I heard what he said
when he first declared.
Q says trust Sessions. I’ve followed Q for a while.
It’s is a lot of fun and very interesting but then I’m
a big Tom Clancy type book reader and so it’s my kind of thing.
I want to trust Sessions but actions speak louder than words.
I know these things need time to go through steps but
it’s hard to be so trusting. These are our lives.
We know children and babies are dying. We want action now to stopped the killing.
I understand.
Ok, score one for Jeff Magoo.
You are over-reacting - in the extreme.
I was wrong about this one thing, and I admit it. So what?
Sessions was under severe, overt pressure to do this - and he waited till almost the last minute to do it. (Real justice does not work that way.)
Has the statute of limitations on perjury run out on Clapper? Yes. Did Sessions willfully not apply the rule of law that he supposedly cherishes? Yes.
Did Sessions gratuitously - gratuitously! - eulogize criminal (as in, committing crimes) prosecutors who persecuted Bundy, whose case was so fraught with corruption that it was thrown out with prejudice? Yes!
I do not care if he is playing 17-Dimensional Chess. His comments on the Bundy case were unforgivable for a supposed by-the-book man. He could at least have kept his mouth shut! That had nothing to do with the ostensible 3D Chess game going on in DC.
This is one step, after many mis-steps. Time will tell.
The Sessions toadies (since you like snarky terms) have so far been far more wrong than right.
I still see a multi-tier justice system, and I still see Sessions as an Institutionalist, not a Constitutionalist.
Laura Ingraham spoke for me: Instead of gloating, she said this should have happened long before now.
If Clinton and Obama are not indicted for their crimes, then we do not have justice - PERIOD! (Understand that I, a Constitutionalist, set a higher bar than the Sessions toadies for what establishes justice.)
Do you really imagine Sessions going after either of them?
I would be thrilled to be wrong about that.
We are supposed to pin a medal on Sessions because he finally, and just once, did his f****** job?
Dont bloody think so.
L
Give it a rest!
Losing your pension and being PROSECUTED for your crimes are two different worlds.
Let's see when indictments are handed down for his CRIMINAL actions... or will loss of pension be the culmination of punishment in this situation for McCabe?
Well, well...... the Free Republic group think is wrong
Sorry—I’d still fire him!
One good deed does not make his other failures disappear!
