There will be eccentric..but not dangerous...people losing their rights while the likes of Sr Cruz will be untouched.
It could be a slippery slope but it’s one we’re going to have to navigate. Something has got to be done to stop these crazy people from doing these deeds. If we can’t localize the inconvenience and denial of rights to crazy people then they are just going to seize all guns.
If we accept even for a second that a person can be guilty of a crime before he commits it we are lost as a free republic. “Odd behavior?” What the hell is that anyway in post-modern society?
Millions were sent to the Gulags because they had mental problems. Like they didn’t like the communist government.
Just saying, this can be used along with those no-longer-private medical records under Obamacare.
