People have to get used to Trump’s approach to problems. It’s a business project oriented approach. Think subcontractors when you build a house, you hire the electricians to put the electrical service in, you don’t keep them around to watch or do the plumbing.
I am convinced that Rex was there to get around the “professional diplomat (on both sides!) communication logjam” of dealing with Saudi Arabia. I believe he had direct channels to the Crown Prince and his supporters because look what happened! It may all still fall apart, but still revolutionary! That job is done Rex needed to exit. He did, the MSM of course made it look ungraceful and forced. Folks they lie! Did we forget that?
Pompeo & Haspel are the next set of subcontractors for the next two projects - Iran & Norkland. I think primarily Iran. Kirkland may already be moving toward some accommodating resolution.
Of course the media and the “professional politician class” can’t understand it. To them it all looks like chaos. It doesn’t fit into their worldview, we’ve tried that worldview. It looks like it no longer works if it ever really did!

That is all well and good, but the President himself said they did not see eye to eye on things.
The other day, I went back into Midas Touch, the book written jointly by Trump and Robert Kiyosaki.
And deep into the book Trump talks about working with employees, partners, and making deals.
He says hiring employee is hit and miss. Someone you think has great qualifications is no good, but someone without is often "terrific". So you need to give the person a challenge and see what happens.
And then he wrote something very insightful:
I prefer doing deals with other people, but not having partnerships because they are too complicated and can eventually go bad. Deals are easier. You still have the relationship, but not the full baggage that a full partnership eventually requires.
Partnerships are like marriage. They can be wonderful, or terrible. If you can, stick to doing deals with people you like and trust. Then you can move on from there to your next deal.
So T Rex and Trump had a deal. T Rex ended his career on a prestigious note and set the stage for dramatic change in the Middle East.
