Congress should 'speak out' on Russia probe, 'don’t wait for crisis': House Democrat (Schiff)

The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee said Sunday that congressional members need to “speak out” now about the importance of maintaining the special counsel’s Russia investigation, before there’s a “constitutional crisis.”

Rep. Adam Schiff of California was responding to a question from ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos on "This Week" Sunday.

“What would happen if the president” fired special counsel Robert Mueller? Stephanopoulos asked.

Schiff responded, “I would hope that it would prompt all Democrats and Republicans in the House to pass an independent counsel law and reinstate Bob Mueller,” Schiff said. “This would undoubtedly result in a constitutional crisis, and I think Democrats and Republicans need to speak out about this right now.”

I thought Schiffty had the scoop and was going to release the details - any day now. The cow has been milked and it's time to set it free.

Schiff is right. The Russian collusion probe is turning into the biggest scandal in our history. When the top law enforcement agency in the country conspires to remove a sitting president through manufactured evidence, fraud and criminal conspiracies, it’s time to blow the lid off and start the indictments. If not, we’re going to become another banana republic with a hopelessly corrupt government.

The Special persecutor has surrounded himself with politician-lawyers of the opposition party (Loyalists against America, IMHO). The goal is to tarnish Trump, interfere with the US Presidency and, in itself, obstruct justice.

If there is no "collusion" send the whole cabal home and use the money for something important.

What is the real purpose of the special prosecutor at this point? What are we trying to determine? Mueller makes Congress look really bad, but of course it always does.

There is only one answer for this......

Where is the evidence of collusion and crimes? Hint, it is not the Trump administration.

Trump attempted (a mistake in my book) to be magnanimous after the election and focus forward. All he has gotten is Mueller and Schiff and non-stop innuendo, insinuation, and outright lying from the leftist media.

Now, in the absence of evidence justifying the original reason for the appointment of a special counsel (hint, the indicted Russians were under investigation far before Mueller) the special counsel is going places that are outside of the original scope despite promises to the contrary when he was appointed.

The answer is simple. Take off the gloves Mr. President and DEMAND that all of the shenanigans by the other side be fully investigated with the same level of effort, expense, and scrutiny they have employed against you. There is a conflict of interest with the special counsel that could never be overcome in a court of law. Mueller cannot be expected to investigate the FBI and many of the key witnesses are people he knows and worked with.

This is all they apparently respect. It is time for another special counsel or perhaps more than one. There is no reasoning with them - they are committed to your destruction and it becomes more obvious every day. It is not only a tit for tat..... it is the justice that your supporters demanded and it is your campaign promise to drain the swamp.

The Democrats are attempting a coup. If they got Trump removed or to resign, they would go after Pence. They hope that by then they would control the House, so a Democratic Speaker would be installed as Acting President. There are major Constitutional issues with Congressional officers being in the Presidential line of succession. The result of all this would be a Constitutional Crisis involving a battle between the Democratic Speaker and a Republican Secretary of State over which one of them was legitimately Acting President.

The Democrats are obsessed with defeating President Trump. For them, an election never ends until a Democrat wins. We worry about a Second Civil War happening, while Democrats look forward to it and are trying trigger it.

What Constitutional crisis? Trump is the chief executive. Mueller is a federal investigator and prosecutor executing those tasks. Trump has a Constitutional right to fire Mueller.

The house judiciary is the appropriate group to call an end to the investigation.

Hopefully they are working with Mueller and providing oversight and will bring it to a close at the appropriate time when everything has been checked and nothing has been found.

Do we trust the house judiciary. Well, no. It’s Republican controlled, but too many RINO’s.

Nevertheless, they are the right group to end this.
