Why? It's not like anything will come of it.

What we have now is an opposition party that has morphed into an open insurgency that feels (correctly, in my opinion) that it can operate with impunity because the leaders are too big to jail.

So far, they've been proven correct. We know that the Democrats have a tendency to overreact and overplay their hand. The question is, where is the line between opposition, sedition, insurgency, and treason?

And then the question is, who would be willing to do anything about it? Recent history suggests that Republicans fear name-calling more than the toppling of a government by the losers of an election.

The line between opposition and sedition/treason is in the rear view. Unfortunately we have the likes of Ryan, McConnell, Sessions and Wray is positions of leadership. Not likely anything will be done unless there are further personnel changes.

Then gain, if Dems control the house ater the mid-terms then the administration will have a different battle on their hands.

That question is a good one and needs to be legally explored using the holdover RICO seditionists as test cases.

This country has a tradition of after a change in government through the election process, the winner will not go after the losing party via the legal system. However, as totally corrupt as the Democrats have become, this system is not such a good idea, IMHO.

When will this system change?

You are right. Waste of money and effort.
