I was warning friends of the possible threat of social platforms on BBSs (and beyond) back in the late 80s...
Thankfully, by the time the ‘net’ was released to the public, I knew to avoid putting any personal info out (pics/address/business/friends/etc).
Every once in awhile I check through search engines just to make sure... I had no idea how many people shared the same name ;^) [and NONE of them (pics, or other information) are me] :D
I’ve found pics on the web that I took but did NOT put them on the web.
