The Douglas students inspired a walkout at nearly 3,000 schools for 17 minutes this past Wednesday. One minute for every life lost in Parkland. They allowed us into their newly donated headquarters. We agreed not to reveal the location.
Here in Maine, no one walked out of school last Wednesday....a massive snowstorm started on Tuesday and dumped two feet of snow on the state. Classes were cancelled on Wednesday.
On Thursday and Friday, some indoctrinated children did in fact walk out.
I was encouraged, however, by one thing. In Portland, Maine, only 100 kids walked out of their high school. That high school has thousands of students and it’s located in the most liberal area of Maine. I’m heartened because so few participated.
Maine is Second Amendment country.
