2 Students Disciplined For Going To Gun Range Outside Of School Hours
themaven ^ | 03/18/2018 | Andrew Blake

An attorney from a New Jersey gun organization association announced that a lawsuit may be pending after a school disciplined two students for going to a gun range outside of school hours. Patch.com reported that attorney Daniel Schmutter, with the Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs, sent a letter to Lacey Township School District officials after two students posted pictures on Snapchat showing them at a gun range. There was no threatening context to the pictures or anything that would otherwise cause alarm.

In the letter, Schmutter stated that suspending the two students for posting photos off school grounds and unrelated to school activities was a "very serious violation" of the their rights. Schmutter said the students were both "straight-A" students, according to Patch.com. He also said that the students had attempted to return to school but were not allowed to go to classes. The claims are that there is a school district policy which prohibits firearm possession by students on or off school grounds.

"These are top-quality kids," Schumuter said. "It's astonishing what they have done to these kids."

According to Patch.com, the Lacey Township school district follows the Safe Schools Initiative, the Zero Tolerance for Guns Act and also has its own zero-tolerance policy for any students who have weapons in their possession, on or off school grounds. Students could be subject to a long-term suspension for up to one-year, according to Schmutter.

Hey, uh, who’s the Governor of New Jersey now? Just axin’ ‘cause I’ve lost track.

Well, California put up a challenge to the Country:
"We dare you find a bigger asshole and elect him/her Governor"

New Jersey said "Hold My Beer, Watch This" and elected Phil Murphy our Governor! BARF!!!

And these young people will now grow up with an unbridled hatred for New Jersey, just like I did.

I had to pick up a friend of mine in Newark for being in NJ and having a gun with hollow-point bullets. He was looking at 6 years (It was a revolver, and it was his uncles. His uncle admitted it was his, and that he left it in my friend’s car during a funeral) I had to go to Newark police dept and stand outside for 18 hours. During that 18 hours I was mugged IN THE PARKING LOT, on camera. I was accosted by a group of 4 thugs - huge black dudes that snuck up behind me and grabbed my junk just because they thought it was funny. I was told by the police to stay where I was. For 18 hours.

You see, a lot of people think that my hatred for New Jersey and those who occupy this stinking little a-hole of a state is unreasonable, or that I’m being a jerk. But I, like these kids, will forever be shaped by the experiences with it.

The state of NJ and it’s schools just created a bunch of kids who are now so full of hate for that state, yet stuck there, that they will never make an improvement on the state. If they are very, very lucky the kids and those who agree with them will move away and speak out against it. If they aren’t lucky, they just created some kids who would take out a town official from 200 yards.

They keep treating people like this and then shrugging their shoulders in confusion when one snaps.

Without question, YES.

Even if holding the administrator personally responsible doesn’t prove viable, it will send a damn good message to that holier-than-thou anti-American leftist.

Schools are an instrument of the government. Schools are punishing students because of their ideas. The First Amendment forbids government from doing just that. Schools are in violation of the Constitution, and their administrators must be put in jail.

This lawsuit MUST happen. The lack of repercussions on the Left for their abuses will only begin to stop when law holds them accountable.

I’m hopeful the kids are back in school ASAP and that the lawsuit does not get settled out of court. Doesn’t matter how long it takes, the Administrator that made this reckless decision needs to stand in front of a judge and jury to explain why their leftist bent should preclude a citizens rights.

Set aside and imposed as detention. Tonight’s school board meeting should be a hoot.

I’ve seen this before, as though it makes it ok.

Something violates the law - oh, but, you need to understand, it’s policy.

Me: you can’t violate the law.

...you don’t understand, it’s policy.

smh.

It wasnt only the kids. It was all over. Had a fellow in Howards Grove WI who escaped from Nazi Germany in the late 1930s. He was 12 or 13 at the time. His oldest sister and he were given passes on a cargo ship bound for Canada.

Nobody here would believe what he had to say about that Germany.

They never saw their family again. Went back to Hamburg to find some relatives and although they found a couple cousins, their cousins wanted nothing to do with them.

I told 2 of my 3 children that started out in public school that, "NO. You never have to go back to that place again".

You cant believe the relief from a childs face when you stop forcing them to go to places where they are despised for being themselves.

NOT schooling your children is better than sending them to fascist indoc centers like these. There are so many other options.

The school (STATE) is not in charge of you or your children.
