Some student called into CNN while it was happening to report in, his name was Jonathan Freis (”Freeze”) - the kid was a senior and in his math class - he said they have trained officers in the school at all times (2 or 3 officers). He also said he was surprised he didn’t hear any shots at all.
He sounded legit, I’m just curious how he had CNN’s number to call into their show.

It was weird - the anchor first addressed the student with the teachers name...
And - I thought that caller was sketchy as heck...
CNN has a history of being pranked during these events.
I forget the exact event but one time, a caller sounded legit for the whole call - but was able to slip “they say the killer is Sam Hyde” in.
I swear its the same guy every time too!
Some student called into CNN while an Active Shooter incident was going on? Just like the guy that called Shep Smith when the shooting was going on at the Ft Lauderdale Airport a while back. Anyone else have the numbers to their favorite news channels, in their phones, so they can call and give a play by play while there’s acts of violence taking place.
